We contact eligible lawyers one at a time, starting with the nearest. Each has up to a minute to respond. We keep looking for up to 10 minutes.

Review the lawyer's details and fee. You can accept the offer or decline it and keep looking.

After payment, you can chat with your lawyer, share documents, or join an audio or video call.

Before your first request
How much does a consultation cost?
Each lawyer sets their fee, which you review before paying. Our 10% platform fee is deducted from the lawyer's fee, not added to your bill. There is no charge to send a request or decline an offer.
What happens if no lawyer accepts?
We look for an available lawyer for up to 10 minutes. If no one accepts, the request expires and you are not charged. You can try again later.
How quickly will I hear back?
Each lawyer has up to 60 seconds to respond before we contact the next eligible lawyer. The time it takes to find a match depends on availability.
Who can see what I share?
Your consultation's chat and documents are shared with your lawyer. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information and who may access it.
What can I do once I have paid?
Once payment is confirmed, you can message your lawyer, share documents, and start an audio or video call. Your messages and documents stay with the consultation.
What if I am not sure which service I need?
Choose the closest match and describe your situation in the notes. The lawyer can tell you if a different service is a better fit before you pay anything.
